Though Sheree Platt and Jeremy Eisenhauer have played music together for 12 years backing each other’s solo projects (they’re even married) it wasn’t until recently that they finally decided to collaborate. Thus: the Eisenhauers.
They released their album The Road We Once Knew on Black Hen three weeks ago, and they’re about to take their folk/roots sound on a tour of BC and the prairies. To celebrate, they’ve released a video for the title track, which also doubles as a mini-documentary.
The melodic and emotional song backs video of the duo’s trip to Nashville to record the album and includes the requisite cowboy hats, cowboys, buskers, Elvis and more. Of course, there’s a fair amount of musical chemistry to observe too.
