Premiere: FOONYAP – “Woolf+Plath”

In late October, Calgary’s FOONYAP released the hauntingly intricate experimental-folk album Palimpsest and we’re proud to be premiering the video for the album’s opening track “Woolf+Plath”.

In the lo-fi video, two women stand in the woods, scatter, and reunite to engage in a delicate slow dance just as FOONYAP gently sings, “come back to me, I’ll be your heart, I’ll beat for you when life is too hard.” The video ends in heartbreak though as we are left watching one of the women nearly collapsing in the woods alone.

Watch the video below and listen to Palimpsest in its entirety here.
