After a five-year recording break, Montreal’s Roxanne Potvin is back with a new album, For Dreaming. The album sees Potvin returning the playful, varied pop she began to dabble in with Play, her previous album. It runs from sweet to biting to dreaming, all depending on the song you’re hearing.
Grayowl Point is pleased to bring you the premiere of the album’s first single, “I Thought I’d Miss You.” This is certainly one of her sweeter offerings, with some keys, bluesy guitar and horns and lyrics about overcoming a former love. Sometimes, it’s easier to get over than you’d think.
