The last time the blog heard from Toronto band the Cautioneers was with their 2011 EP of traditional indie pop-rock tunes, Where We Are. In the Cautioneers’ latest single, “Fool My Senses,” the band show just how far they have come from their past EP, adopting what sounds like a new musical style.
Including a new synth-pop electronic feel to the background of their rock sound, the result is a very lush new single. If this is the direction the Cautioneers are taking in their future releases, better get familiar with them.
